Hiee everyone,
I know it's quite late to write review for May Fab Bag but I received it today so finally a long long wait has come to an end.The theme of the bag is Sun,Sand and Sexy which is basically based on the summers.The bag has blue strips which I like and has 2 full size products and one sample with a bonus scarf.
This months bag was late become of the shifting of warehouse and I even received a sincere apology mail so no problems.If we talk about the concept of fab bag I really like the monthly subscription bags introduced in India.This is my second fab bag and the only drawback I noticed is that the team doesn't customize the products according to the questionnaire.In my previous bag they sent me a lip shade in bright red which I do not wear but it's a nice colour .(Maybe I will start wearing it.)
Similarly this time I have been send a shade which I again do not like but I won't mind wearing it.I hope so in future these people send me a shade of my choice atleast a natural wearable shade.
Lets have a look at products that I received.All these products are accompanied by a Fab post magazine which have description of products and discount coupons ,some DIY and fun posts.
1.Vana Vidhi Oriental Rice Paddy Luxurious Face & Body Scrub
I am a great fan of scrubs as they really remove all the dead skin and impurities and give a nice,soft and glowing skin.The scrub which I received is common to all bags and is an organic one.It smells very fresh since it has aromatic oils added to it and has the main ingredient brown rice.I haven't tried yet.I will put an update about how it feels like after using it.
2.SaND for soapaholics Face Puree Sample
It is a face cleanser which again smells very organic and has ingredients like tomato,oatmeal,Almond,Veg Glycerin,Kaolin,Oil blend of Almond & Grapeseed ,Red clay,blend of extracts of Ginger & Lotus, Ess oil blend of orange & Grapefruit.I am wondering if they missed any other product from their garden.Face Puree sounds very interesting and I am looking foreword to use it.Stay tuned for the updates.
3.Be A Bombshell One Stick-Best Cellar
A multipurpose stick which can be used as a lip ,cheek or eye tint.I like the idea of three in one stick but the first impression of the shade I received is really bad.
It is a dark wine colour.At first I thought that how can somebody use it a cheek stain but after applying it my anger gradually cooled.The shade in particular is not a nice shade especially for people who like soft subtle pink makeup and something which I mentioned in my questionnaire too but as I said before the products are not really customized.
The texture is super smooth and blends easily and hence it justifies its use as a lip and eye stain.As the deep wine shade is nicely pigmented I applied a very little quantity on lips and smudged it so it looked not so bad but I will never apply it in it's full intensity.A new shade in my vanity for me try :)
4.Fab Bag Bonus Scarf-Black
I have heard many people complaining about the quantity of scarf and yes it is true to some extent also but since this is a bonus product we all have received so not much complaints about it.I would not say that it is a good quality scarf but can be used for daily wear purpose if styled properly. Definitely not worth 500 Rs.My almirah is full of different types of scarfs and stoles so I would not mind adding an extra bonus scarf .
Overall I would say that Fab Bags are fun to order and I wish they start delivering them more quickly and even customize the products according to your choice otherwise it's a waste of money.
