I badly need a sunscreen these days because of my current work routine which involves a lot of exposure to sunlight.And my skin care routine has helped me a great deal to protect my face from getting tanned.
So, If you are blessed with oily skin and you need a good sunscreen then your wait ends here. Lakme has introduced the new sunscreen in a powder form.It offers broad spectrum protection of SPF 40 PA+++ which is good enough.

The packaging is yellow in colour resembling the other products in the sunscreen range.It retails for Rs 210 for 7g which is affordable.The puff is better than what Lakme offers in other compacts and has a sun embossed on it.And a small mirror for touch up's.
I have been using this product for more than a month and finally I decided to write a review on it.It has been a constant partner in my bag ever since I bought it.
Lakme claims the shade to be universally flattering but I really don't think that the shade would be a good match for skin tones deeper than me as it tends to leave a slight grey-ish cast on initial application.It settles down to my skin tone in sometime while brightening and mattifying my skin.I skip my regular compact and straightway use this sunscreen compact on top of my moisturizer.It slightly even tones my skin while giving little coverage.
I am quite liking the concept of the product as it very easy to reapply this sunscreen.Honestly, I have never ever reapplied my gel sunscreens because who has the time to do that.But for the sunscreen to be effective it is important to reapply it and this compact makes my life so much easier.Also it mattifies my skin and absorb oil from my face.
The texture is more towards powdery side but is finely milled and is easy to blend.If applied heavily tends to make my face look fake so it is better to layer the product if required.It doesn't makes my face sticky nor causes any breakouts.Also it does protect my skin from getting tanned.

Overall I would say that Lakme Sun Expert Ultra Matte Compact is a versatile product to try as it a combination of a compact and a sunscreen. This product has made my life so easy and I have been using it non stop ever since I have purchased.It is a shade which would suit fair to medium skin tones though I wish Lakme to introduce few more shades to cater to all skin tones.
