Lakme Rose Powder was a totally new product for me when I saw it for the first time online.I read reviews which were convincing enough for me to order this.The name itself is very prompting for girls to try it out.All of us have some or other rose products in our collection and the basic one being Rose Water.Rose is enriched with beauty properties and hence an essential beauty product.
It is available in two variants-
- Soft pink ( For fair skin tones )
- Warm pink ( For wheatish to dusky skin tones )
It comes with a very decent price tag which I guess is super affordable for this quantity.I got it for Rs 140 only for 40 gm.
The shelf life is 24 months so no problem for people who will use it occasionally.
Impression of Lakme Rose powder
Packaging-With a box like jar cylindrical in shape,it comes with a separator and a powder puff.The separator has holes in it which can be used to obtain powder.Puff is cute and soft with a ribbon attached for holding the puff.The application is easy with this good quality puff.The cap does not shuts tightly and may open so not recommended for travelling purposes.
About Powder- It is loose powder with skin colour with like the one we find in compact powder.Very mildly rose fragranced which is very soothing but fades after application.I wish it stayed for a longer time.
The powder blends very easily into skin and doesn't looks cakey or overdosed.
It has a very low coverage so good for daily use.
One good think I loved about this that it did not cause any breakouts as normal talcum powders or compacts do.It is said to contain sunscreen with no spf mentioned.Not a problem and only a plus point.It has a staying power of 2-3 hours and controls oil for around 30-45 minutes perfectly and after that mildly.Remember I have a super oily skin therefore this factor depends on temperature,climate,day time,skin etc.It adds warm tone to my skin and removes small imperfections.I am using it for daily use.

Overall I would say that this product must be given a try once.It is by no way loss of money and can be added to your daily beauty routine without any side effects.And I will for sure get another one once this gets over.Totally Suggested!
