Matte Lipsticks being a current rage in market almost every brand is coming up with their own version of it. Elle 18 recently launched their 20 Matte Lipsticks and I picked one of their shades in orange.The availability of Elle 18 new launches is always an issue but somehow I got one shade.The packaging varies for lipstick which were available 3 months back and those available now.I find this quite weird because never before I saw different lipstick shapes for same product.

Each lipstick retails for Rs 100 which is quite affordable.In the new packaging the top has been flattened and the bullet is like the regular Elle 18 lipsticks.The plastic is sturdy and cap shuts with a click and hence travel friendly.With the same signature Elle 18 fragrance of cocoa vanilla makes it delicious to smell.Coming to the shade 'Lets Tango' is a wearable dark orange suitable for almost all Indian skin tones.

The name of the range doesn't justifies the texture as the lipsticks have satiny finish and not matte.But the formula is very comfortable to wear and glides nicely.I easily skip the lips balm underneath and it doesn't dries out my lips.They are certainly not opaque and intense like the claims but the coverage is buildable. With the staying power of around 3-4 hours with fading over time they definitely do not survive meal.Quite transferable the formula is but they do not bleed.Also they have a tendency to settle in fine lines.At this price tag I cannot expect more but I wish that they offered semi matte finish with an increase in price.

Overall I would say that Elle 18 Color Pops Matte Lipstick in Lets Tango is a beautiful dark orange with satiny finish which would flatter almost all Indian skin tones.With such an affordable tag and decent quality Elle 18 has always impressed me.I recommend these lippies.
