Hiee everyone...,
Stress and pollution has inadvertently turned some of my beautiful black locks into gray.In the starting this was so embarrassing that I used to trim those gray hair and after few days they used to poke out becoming even more noticeable than before.Trimming didn't worked at all and plucking them made the situation even more worse. If you also have premature hair graying then we can share our mutual sympathies.Reverting them back is a possibility but is really very difficult so at some stage you might have to give a thought of covering them without using any chemical based products.I will be sharing a natural based henna which I recently received and has become one of my dearest hair care product.Read further to know more about my experience with Prem Dulhan Sure Naturals Henna.Get it online from Premhenna or Amazon.
Price-Rs 50 for 150 gm
This natural based henna powder is said to be enriched with the goodness of Hibiscus, Brahmi, Shikakai , Methi, Neem, Jatamansi, Aloe Vera, Bhringraj and Amla. All these herbs work like wonders for hair.
I really cannot hold upon the purity of this product but can surely prove the presence of 'methi'. As I prepare the Mehandi paste with water it becomes sticky and slippery which happens exactly when you mix 'methi' powder with water. Atleast this assures me that the claims are true. Methi or Fenugreek is known for its conditioning and nourishing properties. It increases hair growth and provides nutrition to them.
The powder is khaki green in colour and has a strong natural smell of Henna.I prepared the paste in an iron vessel overnight.Henna should always be prepared in an iron vessel as it helps to enrich the colour and turns it black.I never wear gloves for applying mehandi to my hair as I am not comfortable doing that.It turned my hands orangish red which is the true colour of henna and the colour faded away after 4-5 days.I never mind it.If you dislike the colouring of hands then use gloves.
I kept the henna for around 3 hours and then washed it with plain water only.I personally never shampoo my hair after henna conditioning because I want the colour to stay for more long.Always remember to apply henna on clean hair as that will be more effective. You may even oil your hair after applying henna as for some hair types henna can be a bit drying.Once I shampoo after 2-3 days I can see my happy flowing locks with those ugly gray hair covered with a tint of brown.
My ratings:4.8/5
Overall I would say that Sure Naturals Henna is a good affordable product enriched with the goodness of various herbs. It will condition your hair well and will cover gray hair if any.I totally recommend this natural henna.
