Today I will be reviewing a product which was launched I guess a month back namely Fair and Lovely BB cream + foundation.This is for the first time I have tried any Fair and lovely cream.I was not so sure whether to give it a try or not so I decided to purchase a small pack worth Rs 49 for 9 gm.Read further to know my experience about this cream.
What Fair and Lovely claims

Packaging-It comes in a small golden tube with an elongated nozzle and Yami Gautam printed on the tube.Packaging part is impressive and both travel friendly too.But when I saw the size of the cream after opening the pack it was disappointing to see a sample size pack as I was expecting some more quantity.I don't even find it cheap but kind off expensive for this quantity.Anyways when I brought it home I tried it on my hands first and I liked it somehow.
Shade and texture-After applying my customary Lacto Calamine I slowly rubbed this cream into my skin.Since I have a Lacto Calamine oil control lotion which is not at all moisturizing so I found it difficult to spread and it caused patches.Now I cleaned my face again and applied this cream directly and I noticed it diffusing much better but not moisturizing again.This part is kind of good for oily skinned people but dry skin people should definitely not skip a moisturizer.It does provide a glow to my skin but if I layer it then it looks fake.It is a foundation style cream as mentioned already so it is a tinted cream in a shade that would only suit fair to light medium complexion.Dusky beauties will find it totally useless as it will leave a white cast on their face.For my skin tone it is 2-3 tones light but I manage somehow.
Coverage-If we talk about the coverage then let me say that it has a low coverage but kind of even outs my skin without lightening any scars or blemishes.It has a mild fragrance lingering which I quite like but few may dislike it.I have applied this when mercury in Lucknow reached 44 deg C so I really cannot judge its staying power in this scorching heat but in normal days it brightens up my face for upto 2-3 hours.Can control oil for around 2 hours which is pretty nice.You may use it for daily wear.Hasn't caused any breakouts yet but sensitive skinned girls be careful before using any product.

Overall I would say that Fair and Lovely BB+Foundation cream is an average BB cream which I would not like to purchase again.Personally I would stay silent when it comes to recommending because it may suit you as everyone has there own opinion but I am just using it for the sake of finishing it.
