Hello Everyone...Few months back Forest Essential discontinued their lip balms and launched the duo pack which had two variants.I guess the individual balms are back in stock.The price was also lowered per lip balm and the set retailed for Rs 795 which is expensive for 2 lip balms.My crave to try the Sweet Narangi landed me with a Rose Petal one also.I personally feel that the usp of this brand is packaging , the exotic fragrance of the products and off course the luxury ayurvedic label.If you are my blog reader then you must be aware that I absolutely love this brand and I love trying their different products.
The duo balms come in a sturdy magnetic closure cardboard box which I am currently using for storing my lipsticks.The graphics and quality adds to the luxury tag.The balms individually come in a small ,dusty gold ,sleek tubs with an inbuilt mirror.The mirror is of no use as it is so small but I welcome mirrors in any form and sometimes they come handy for lipstick touch up also.

The product is 3 gm which is too less in quantity as we generally get approximately 8 gm lip balm in tubs.The packaging is stylish and classy but that is not the only thing we expect from a product.It works decently but nothing worth mentioning.It is not a healing balm and would not do much to your chapped dry lips as per the claims.If you are somebody like me who just loves applying lip balm to keep lips soft and moisturized as a routine then this would be a good choice.The texture is very light, non greasy, non waxy and comfortable on lips but the effect is unfortunately not long lasting.The fragrance does linger for a while which I quite enjoy.
Sweet Narangi is a fresh citrus-y orange kind of smell which I quite like using especially in summers.This variant would be a repurchase for me once I finish using it. Sugared Rose Petal is a different kind of rose smell, sadly nothing like their rose absolute range which I quite like.I am very neutral towards this smell and is a bit strong.I suggest the brand to reformulate this variant as Rose evokes a different feeling and this is nowhere close to it.

Overall I think that Forest Essentials Lip Balm in Sweet Narangi and Sugared Rose Petal are beautifully packaged , fragrance-d lip balms which have a natural formulation. If you are looking for something just for daily use and not on a treatment basis for dry chapped lips then this is a good option.They are very light weight and moisturizing on lips but for the price tag I had higher expectations and I don't really recommend them if you are in a budget.Otherwise I suggest you trying the Sweet Narangi over the Sugared Rose Petal .
