From today onwards I am starting a new series of post featuring the affordable but good quality products which are generally under-rated under the banner "Who says Affordable is cheap...?".I haven't seen anybody doing this so it is a new concept altogether unless I discover somebody else doing it prior to me.Who doesn't love hoarding new cosmetics especially if they deliver good quality.
So today I will reviewing a lipstick I bought online from Blue Heaven.This lipstick might not be available in local stores especially in Lucknow but is available on their website.

Packaging:The lipstick comes in an outer cardboard cover which is a box open from both ends so that you can generously push the lipstick through it.I prefer such packaging's as they are convenient to use.The lipstick has a plastic body with a pale pink cap and doesn't looks like a Rs 125 lipstick.The packaging is better than many good brand lipsticks.Is Sturdy,looks pretty and even shuts properly though not very tight but you can ensure hassle free travelling with it inside the outer cover.Though not colour coded but the label mentions the shade number.I love my lipsticks to have name rather than numbers but that is avoidable.
Texture,Shade,Pigmentation:Texture is smooth,glides nicely and has a satiny finish.It is moisturizing for my lips and is not drying.The shade is deep red which will suit medium to dusky beauties very well.I am bad in describing red shades so I am really sorry for that.The lipstick is well pigmented and is kind of opaque though not completely.The shade is buildable and with 1-3 swipes you will get that perfect red pout you have always dreamed of.Removing lipstick is easy using a makeup remover and it doesn't bleeds inspite being such a bold red shade but it does transfers.
I cannot really comment on the staying power but it will stay for long as deep shades generally tend to and at this price I cannot expect it to stay for infinite time..

Overall I would say that Blue Heaven Follow Me Lipstick R001-Sensual Red is a Beautiful,Bold,Deep Red that would complement Indian Skin tones so if you are on a budget buy or are a Red Lipstick hoarder then I would recommend this as at this affordable tag it is worth the penny.
