Colorbar has a new exciting limited edition launch this monsoon named 'Feel The Rain'.Everything is well coordinated with the theme and since Rain is my most favorite 'thing' on Earth how can I miss this edition.I bought a brown lipstick which is a new shade for my collection and a Gel Nail Lacquer in the same shade.

Did you look at those tiny little droplets all over? They look extremely pretty on lipstick as well as the outer box. The cloud cut-out adds to the rain feel and the color coded lipstick and cover look superb.The body is sturdy and cap shuts with a click which would not open inside the purse.

Drizzle is a pure chocolate brown shade with a creamy matte finish.This is the kind of shade which would go better with a mature look or otherwise one really needs to carry it well.As the brown shades are quite in trend, this is the right time to grab it.All chocolate addicts would love this shade and looks tempting enough to have a bite.The addition of chocolate fragrance like in the Too Faced Chocolate bon-bon palette would have made it a better treat.

Pigmentation is quite good and with multiple swipes, it gives an opaque coverage.The texture is slightly grainy but applies smoothly.I am not very fond of grainy textures and instead I prefer butter smooth feel.It sits on lips without any waxy feel and doesn't settle into fine lines.

Initially, lipstick has a creamy matte look but settles to a semi-matte finish after half an hour.It does transfers but not crazily and also the shade doesn't bleed so I can easily skip a lip liner beneath.It is a long lasting lipstick and easily stays for around 5-6 hours without flaking or crumbling.It survives meal with some fading from the center of lips.Lipsticks generally don't last that long on me but I am glad that it did.

Overall I am quite impressed with the quality of Colorbar 'Feel The Rain' Matte Lipstick.It is long lasting, has a comfortable matte finish and the shade looks quite pretty in person.These lipsticks are a part of limited edition collection and have a gorgeous packaging as well.Grab them!Recommended.
